JDM FairBuy helps Japanese used-car exporters estimate a vehicle's buying price using comparable Market Price data displayed on JP Auction 24. The extension analyzes relevant comparable vehicles based on factors such as chassis, trim or package, mileage, auction grade, color, and available market-price information. It applies statistical outlier protection and configurable valuation adjustments to produce an estimated buying price in JPY. JDM FairBuy also shows the number and quality of comparable vehicles used, matching information, valuation details, and confidence indicators so users can understand how the estimate was calculated. The valuation is performed locally in the browser using Market Price information available in the user's authenticated JP Auction 24 session. JDM FairBuy is designed as a decision-support tool for automotive sales and export professionals. It does not guarantee the price of a future auction purchase.
