Examples: • Summary: structured overview with key points and consensus • TL;DR: short bullets with actionable takeaways • Debate: competing viewpoints and strongest arguments on each side • Roast: comedic, sarcastic take (for fun) • Explain Simply: plain‑language explanation • Custom: write your own prompt (great for workflows like “Product feedback extractor” or “Research checklist”) Modes are page‑type aware (Thread vs Subreddit vs Search), so you can keep different custom modes for each. Analyze vs Chat (when to use which) • Analyze: “Give me the best structured answer in one go.” Great when you’re new to a thread/subreddit. • Chat: “Let me interrogate the page.” Great for follow‑ups, edge cases, and compare/contrast questions. AI models (Cloud vs Chrome Local) You can choose between: • Cloud AI: best quality and speed options, with premium models available for Pro users. • Chrome Local AI (where supported): runs on‑device for more privacy and offline‑friendly use. Pricing (simple) • Free: generous monthly credits (roughly ~15 analyses/month, depending on page length) + unlimited Chrome Local AI (where supported). • Pro / Max: more monthly credits + premium cloud models. The popup header shows your monthly credit usage so you always know where you stand. Privacy (plain English) • The extension reads Reddit content only when you click Analyze or start a Chat. • For cloud models, the selected page content is sent to the AI provider to generate a response. • Analyses/chats are stored locally in your browser for History/Saved features. • See the Privacy Policy linked on the Chrome Web Store listing for details. Compatibility • Works on reddit.com (new Reddit UI): threads, subreddits, and search pages. • Not supported: old.reddit.com (the toolbar is disabled there). • Not affiliated with or endorsed by Reddit. Quick troubleshooting (store‑friendly) • Toolbar not visible: refresh the tab once after installation; make sure you’re on reddit.com (not old.reddit.com). • Not signed in: open the extension popup and click “Sign In to Get Started”. • Chrome Local AI is unavailable: use a cloud model, or enable Local AI in Chrome if supported in your browser version.
