Needs an update

It looks like the new WME has broken this completely. I'm not even getting the icon any more.

not working

I downloaded the extension, but it has a grey icon and when I click on it, a drop down menu appears. When I click on Waze Link (top menu item), it takes me back to the Chrome store page for waze.

doesnt work

Have Waze on both my smartphone and tablet, so thoght it would be helpful to have on new laptop as well (win 10) . Icon is greyed out and whatever its supposed to do, it doesn't.
Surely some progammer somewhere, could have tried this out and either given step by step instructions, or listed platforms it doesn't work on?
Lazy, sloppy programming.
