Japanese IO

I just tried installing this, but when I left-click on the icon, it just takes me to a new tab and tries to make me sign up for an account?? What kind of "extension" is this!! For _that_ reason, I AM OUT.

This is the best app in town that I have found, quicker simple highlighting words for furigana on websites, click and show the actual JLPT level of the word and frequency (not available on Yomichan that I can see), and word-tracking storage across extension to main IO website, analyzer, etc. In this way I believe it is better and simpler than Lingq as well, and pretty much everything else that I have seen to date.

Garbage app runs in the background somehow (background app which remains after closing Chrome). Can't trust it. Regular Japanese is mistakenly interpreted as author name.
