Your login credentials and cookies never leave your machine. ================================================== HOW TO SET UP & USE (STEP-BY-STEP) ================================================== 1. LOG IN TO INSTAGRAM: Open Google Chrome and make sure you are logged in to your account at instagram.com. 2. OPEN INSTAGOO DOWNLOADER: Click the InstaGoo extension icon in your Chrome toolbar (or open it in the Chrome Side Panel). 3. SELECT YOUR DESTINATION FOLDER: Click the "Choose Folder" button. ⚠️ IMPORTANT FOLDER GUIDANCE: Due to Chrome and Windows security sandbox rules, do NOT select root system folders directly (such as Desktop, Downloads root, or C:\ drive directly). 👉 Instead, create and select a dedicated subfolder (for example: inside your Downloads folder, create a folder named "InstaGoo", or create a folder on another drive such as D:\InstaGoo). 4. VISIT ANY INSTAGRAM PROFILE: Browse to any Instagram profile page in Chrome. InstaGoo will automatically detect the username and load their profile picture preview in the side panel. 5. SELECT CONTENT TO DOWNLOAD: Toggle the categories you want to download with one click: • 📸 Posts (Single photos & Carousels) • 🎬 Reels (Videos in HD) • ⏱️ Stories (Active 24h stories) • 🌟 Highlights (Curated story albums) • Limit (Optional: set maximum items per category, or leave as 0 for all) • Metadata (Optional: toggle JSON metadata export ON/OFF) 6. START DOWNLOAD: Once your folder is selected and a profile is detected, the button will turn colorful and display "Download @username".
