Control local Kindle audiobook creation and playback through the TextHalo Mac app.
TextHalo Reader connects Kindle for the web to the TextHalo Mac app, turning your books into audiobooks. • Listen from this page — start narration at your current reading position • Build complete audiobook — prepare the whole book in TextHalo • Export completed chapters or full audiobooks as WAV files in the Mac app • Share audio using AirDrop, Mail, and other macOS sharing options • If TextHalo is missing or has been uninstalled, the popup offers a download link Requires TextHalo for Mac (macOS 14+, Apple Silicon). OCR runs on your Mac. On-device voices keep narration local; choosing an optional cloud voice in TextHalo sends narration text to that provider and may use credits. Version 0.5.2 improves app detection after uninstall and reinstall. Audiobook export and chapter-title pauses are available in TextHalo 0.1.21 or later.
