JackalShield anonymizes sensitive documents before you share them with AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. It automatically detects and replaces personally identifiable information (PII) — so you can use AI safely without exposing confidential data. How it works Drag and drop a document onto the ChatGPT or Claude chat window — or use the extension popup. JackalShield detects sensitive data using regex patterns and a local AI model (NER). All detected PII is replaced with realistic-looking placeholder data. The anonymized text is pasted directly into the chat.
