ItemDealFinder.com - Price Checker

See if a game is cheaper at another store, in one line above the buy buttons on its Steam page. Free, no account needed.

ItemDealFinder.com - Price Checker adds one line above the buy buttons on a game's store page (Steam today): "Best price we know", "Cheaper at GOG: $14.99 (save $5.00)", or "Free on Epic until Oct 9". The toolbar icon says the same at a glance: green when the store you're on has the best price, the saving when another store is cheaper. Click the line for the details: the price on the page, the best price we know and where, the lowest price we've seen since we started tracking the game, and how long ago we checked. When another store has it for less, one button takes you to that store's page; "Compare" opens the game on itemdealfinder.com with every store we carry and the price history. The price it shows. Always the cheapest equivalent price we know: the same game and edition, as a PC key you can activate, in your region's currency (US and Canadian prices). The price on the page is read from the page in front of you; every other store's comes from our own checks, with the time we last checked. What it asks for. Permission to run on the supported stores' game pages, to talk to itemdealfinder.com, and to remember your settings. Nothing else: no access to other tabs, your history, your cookies or your store account. What it sends. Which store and which game, as in "steam, 553420", to itemdealfinder.com, so we can answer with that game's prices. Nothing else: no cookies, no account, no identifier for you or your browser, not the page you came from, and never the price the store shows you (that is compared on your computer). It makes no request to any store and sends no analytics. How we make money. ItemDealFinder is free to use. Some outbound links carry a referral tag that pays us a commission if you buy. It never changes your price, and it never changes what the line says: the cheapest store is the cheapest store whether or not it pays us. The "Get it at" button passes through itemdealfinder.com so we can count the click, then sends you straight on to the store. That commission is what pays for the servers and the work.
