Overview
Cute mouse hover effects: an emoji or custom-icon mosaic fades in behind any link or button you point at. Private and offline.
Irregular Hover Cursors Highlighter adds cute mouse hover effects to every website in Chrome. Switch it on, and every link, button, form field and menu item you point at fades in a small, irregular mosaic of emoji — or your own icon — behind the text. It never covers the words, and it always stays readable. Not a custom cursor extension: your cursor stays exactly as it is. Instead, whatever you hover over comes alive — a fun, aesthetic alternative to cursor changers, and the kind of cute Chrome extension that makes browsing feel like yours. FEATURES 🎨 Customizable hover effects • Stamp size from 8 px to 50 px — tiny confetti or bold tiles • Density from sparse to tight • Opacity from barely-there transparent to fully solid 👀 Live preview Adjust size, density and opacity and see the exact effect instantly — before you hover a single link on a real page. 😀 Emoji set Choose which emoji appear in the mosaic from a curated set, or clear them completely. 📎 Your own icon Add any PNG and it becomes part of the hover wallpaper. Mix your custom icon with emoji, or turn the emoji off and use only your logo, mascot or icon. Uploaded images are resized and normalized on your device automatically. HOW IT WORKS Click the toolbar icon, flip the switch, and hover anything on any website — links, buttons, search boxes, list items, navigation menus. The mosaic fades in smoothly behind the element's own text and fades out the moment you move away. Nothing on the page is ever changed permanently, and there is no setup. PRIVACY — SAFE, OFFLINE, NO TRACKING Wondering whether a hover or cursor extension is safe? This one makes zero network requests and collects no data. Every setting — including any icon you upload — is stored locally in your browser and never leaves your device. No account, no analytics, no ads, nothing to download beyond the extension itself.
