Open blake3.net content and resolve pkarr.net names through your local iroh HTTP gateway.

iroh link opens content-addressed links through a gateway running on your own machine. Links like https://<hash>.blake3.net/path/to/file https://<public-key>.pkarr.net/path are sent straight to your local iroh HTTP gateway (by default at localhost:45475), which fetches the content peer-to-peer from whoever is serving it and checks it against its BLAKE3 hash. The blake3.net and pkarr.net servers are never contacted for these links. What it does • Redirects *.blake3.net links to your local gateway, which fetches and verifies the content by hash. • Redirects *.pkarr.net links to your local gateway, which resolves the signed pkarr record for that public key and forwards you to its target. • Keeps paths and query strings intact, so links inside a collection work normally. • Leaves the plain blake3.net and pkarr.net home pages alone. What it doesn't do It is a very small extension that redirects links, and that's all. It doesn't start or include the gateway: you run that yourself. Without a running gateway, the links simply won't load. Get the gateway for Windows or macOS: https://github.com/n0-computer/iroh-content-discovery/releases Settings Open the extensions menu (the puzzle-piece icon next to the address bar) and click iroh link to set the port your gateway listens on. Click the pin to keep its icon in the toolbar. To stop redirecting, turn the extension off in Chrome's extension settings. Privacy iroh link collects no data. It has no analytics, no remote servers and no access to your browsing history. It can only see *.blake3.net and *.pkarr.net addresses, and all matching happens inside the browser.
