Overview
Iris brings AI answers and summaries to Google, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail. Work smarter, faster, easier.
Iris puts your own AI agents one click away while you browse. A side panel reads the tab you are on and answers in context, helps you write where you already work, and can send an agent to take notes in your video calls. Iris is not a generic chatbot. You create agents for the jobs you actually have (an executive assistant, a bookkeeper, a marketing lead, a support agent) on the Iris dashboard, and this extension brings those same agents, with the same memory and the same conversations, into your browser. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Ask about the page you are on. Open the side panel next to whatever you are reading and ask. The panel knows which tab is active, so "summarize this", "what is missing here" and "draft a reply" just work. Switch between your agents from the picker at the top. • Handle email faster. Open a thread in Gmail and ask Iris to summarize it or draft a response. Long threads become three lines; replies come out in your tone and ready to edit. • Write and edit in your documents. In Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, ask for a rewrite, an outline, a formula or a slide's talking points. Iris works inside the file you have open instead of a separate window you have to copy from. • Get a direct answer on search results. When you search the web, Iris appears beside the results with an answer and follow-up questions, so you spend less time clicking through links. • Send an agent to your meetings. On a Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams call, click Invite Iris. Pick which agent attends and whether it is an internal or a client meeting. Your agent joins as itself, takes a full transcript and notes with action items, answers out loud when someone addresses it by name, and sends everyone the recap afterwards. Connect your calendar once and it can join every meeting automatically. • Let your agent work in your browser. Some sites block automated cloud browsers. With your permission, an Iris agent can drive a tab in your own Chrome, using the logins and devices you already have, while you watch. You approve each site; nothing runs without you. • Keep everything in one place. Every conversation you have here is the same conversation on the Iris dashboard and the Iris mobile app. Start on your phone, finish in Chrome. WHO IT IS FOR Founders and small teams who want an assistant that remembers their business, not a blank prompt box. Consultants and agencies who spend their day in documents and email. Anyone who sits through meetings and would rather have the notes than take them. Operators who want agents to actually do tasks (follow-ups, research, bookkeeping, scheduling) instead of only talking about them. WHY IRIS • Your agents, not a stranger. Each agent has its own instructions, memory, skills and connected tools. The extension is a window onto them, so the help you get in an email thread knows what you said on the dashboard this morning. • It reads the page you are on. No copying text into a chat. The side panel sees the current tab and answers in context. • Agents can act, not just answer. From the same panel you can hand an agent a task (research a lead, draft and send follow-ups, pull numbers from your books) and it reports back when done. right meeting. HOW TO GET STARTED 1. Install the extension and sign in with the Google account you use for Iris. 2. Open the side panel from the Iris icon. Your agents are already there. New to Iris? Creating your first agent takes about a minute at agents.irisai.app, and it is free to start with no card required. 3. Try it on a real page: open a long email and ask Iris to summarize it, or paste a meeting link and click Invite Iris. MEETINGS, IN DETAIL Invite Iris or a specific agent from the pill that appears on your video-call page. The agent joins as a participant with its own name and avatar, so everyone can see whose notetaker it is. During the call it keeps a running transcript attributed to each speaker and builds notes with decisions and action items. Say its name and it answers. You can pause recording from the same control. After the call, attendees get a link to the recap, and the notes are searchable from your dashboard. Choose internal or client meeting when you invite so the summary is written for the right audience. PRIVACY AND CONTROL • Iris reads a page only when you open the panel on it or ask about it. • Browser actions by an agent require your consent per site and happen in a visible tab. • Meeting bots join as clearly labelled participants; a host can decline to admit them. • You can remove the extension's access at any time from your Google account. • Your data is used to serve you, not sold. Full policy: irisai.app/privacy FREQUENTLY ASKED Is Iris free? You can start free and create your first agent without a card. Paid plans add more agents, more usage and team features. Do I need the Iris app? No. The extension works on its own after sign-in. The mobile app and the dashboard share the same agents if you want them everywhere. Can I use it with a Google Workspace account? Yes. Sign in with that account. Your admin may need to allow the extension. Does the meeting agent record video? It takes a transcript and notes. Keeping a recording is a setting you turn on yourself. Which AI does Iris use? Iris runs on current frontier models and picks the right one for the job, so you never have to.
