Select text or box any region of the page, and an action wheel appears: Explain, Search, Shop, Generate, Save. Results stream in place. Either way the same four-spoke wheel appears: Explain / Search, Save, Shop, Generate. Every spoke is yours to change: icon (emoji library or your own image), name, colour, action kind, prompt text, and submenus of up to 3 sub-items — with a live preview while you edit. 🔍 Select-to-explain Highlight 2–500 characters, pick Explain, and a panel slides in below the highlight with a streaming explanation — a quick definition with one concrete example, rendered as formatted text. A "deepen" button swaps in a longer explanation when you want it. 👁 Vision on any region Box a product photo, a chart, a UI — ask "what is this?" about the exact pixels. Shopping lets the AI name the product, then opens your chosen destination with that query. 🧭 Search where YOU search The "AI identify → open URL" action ships with a preset library covering general web search, image search, shopping, video, social, and encyclopedia sites — pick from a dropdown, or paste any custom search-URL prefix of your own. ✏️ Instructions that act Type what you want done — "translate this", "extract the dates", "find it on my shopping site" — and follow up right in the result panel. Instructions that name a destination the wheel knows open the real results page for you. Every run lands in the side-panel history with a reopen link. 🎨 Image generation From selected text or a boxed region, generate one clean render or a 2×2 style grid with an editable style template (bring a Google AI key, or recharge credits). ⚡ Free mode & credits Pick a username and ask right away — 2,000 credits included, text questions, no email, no password, no card. A one-time credit pack unlocks screenshot questions and image generation. Or bring your own API key and pay your provider directly — switchable any time, per provider, each with its own saved key. 📦 Boxes are action hubs Every capture leaves a highlight box on the page. Click it to reopen the wheel on the same capture — no re-selecting. The corner badge summarizes what happened there; hover to delete. 🗂 The side panel remembers everything Captures from the current page stay on top, each with its own Q&A thread. A collapsible global history logs every search, shopping trip, and generated image, self-managed within a 1 GB local budget. 🌊 Real streaming Words appear as the model generates them — close the panel early if it's off-track. 🌍 16 interface languages, switchable in Settings. 🖥 Works with the nodx desktop app (optional): captures sync over 127.0.0.1 — your machine only. The extension is fully useful without it. ═══════════════════════════════════════════ PRIVACY ═══════════════════════════════════════════ Bring your own key and this extension has no backend at all: ✓ Your API keys, settings, captures, and history live only in chrome.storage.local on your own machine. ✓ Requests go directly from your browser to the AI provider you configured. ✓ Desktop sync targets 127.0.0.1 (your own computer) and can be switched off. ✓ No analytics, no telemetry, no trackers, no ads. The one exception is free mode, and you have to turn it on yourself: your text questions then route through our server (aicon.solutions) so we can pay for the model on your behalf. That server stores the username you invented, the token issued to it, and its credit counters — never your questions, answers, or IP address.
