Overview

Save, follow, and reblog from WordPress.com Reader

The WordPress.com Reader brings the blogs and sites you follow into one feed. This extension adds a Reader button to Chrome, so you don't have to copy links into a tab or bookmark things you'll never get back to. SAVE FOR LATER Found something you want to read properly? Click Save. It goes to your Saved list in the Reader at wordpress.com/read/saved, with its title, excerpt, image and author. It works for WordPress.com posts and for pages on most other public websites. You can read it later on the web or in the Jetpack and WordPress apps. FOLLOW THE SITE Like a blog? Click Follow and its new posts appear in your Reader feed. Click again to unfollow. REBLOG TO YOUR SITE Want to share something on your own blog? Pick one of your WordPress.com sites, add a note if you want, and the extension saves a draft post that links to the page. Nothing is published. The draft opens in the editor so you can review it, edit it and publish it when you're ready. HOW IT WORKS - Log in once with your WordPress.com account. You log in on WordPress.com itself, and the extension never sees your password. - The extension only reads the page you're on when you click its button, and only to get the details for what you asked it to do. - Saves, follows and drafts are sent to WordPress.com. For YouTube videos, the title and thumbnail come from YouTube. - There are no ads and no tracking. You'll need a free WordPress.com account. To reblog, you'll also need a WordPress.com site, or a self-hosted site connected through Jetpack.
