Statement Lens turns your credit card statements into a clear picture of where your money goes, and it works entirely on your own computer. No bank login, no account to create, no cloud upload. Drop in a statement and within seconds you see your spending by category, your biggest merchants, your fees and interest, and where you can cut back. WHAT IT DOES • Reads PDF statements, scanned PDFs (built-in OCR), CSV and Excel files • Works with statements from most US card issuers • Sorts every transaction into categories automatically, and you can correct any category or add notes • Shows a dashboard of total spend, top categories, top merchants, fees and interest • Gives insights on where to reduce spending, such as recurring charges, subscriptions and rising categories • Global search across all your statements: type a merchant like "Netflix" or an amount like 29.99 and see every matching charge across every card and month, with totals and per-month averages • Trends and history across months and cards • Keeps every statement as a version, so re-importing a corrected statement never loses the earlier one • Payment due-date reminders, so you don't miss a payment • Export to CSV anytime PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your statements are processed and stored only on your computer • Data is saved in your browser and in a data folder you choose (a SQLite database with automatic daily backups), so you can restore it at any time • No sign-up, no tracking, no ads, and we never see your data • Works offline OPTIONAL AI EXTRACTION For unusual statement layouts, you can turn on AI extraction using your own Anthropic (Claude) API key.
