Look up any IP address without leaving the page. Hover an IPv4 or IPv6 address in page text, select it, or right-click it, and a card shows where it is and who runs it: city, region and country with the flag, coordinates with a map link, the network operator (ASN), the owner, and a trust score. The toolbar popup looks up any address you type and shows your own IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. Free, with no account and no API key. The extension uses ipdata's free service, which gives every user 1,000 city-level lookups a day from their own connection, then country and ASN data without limit. Add an ipdata API key in Settings to unlock every field: VPN, proxy, Tor, datacenter and iCloud Relay detection, reputation scores, blocklist reports, company, mobile carrier, currency, languages and calling code. A Card / JSON switch shows exactly what the API returned, ready to copy. What it does • IP address lookup on hover, selection or right-click, on any website • Website IP, ISP and ASN lookup, with the operator and the owner shown separately • IP geolocation: city, region, country, postal code, coordinates and local time • My IP: your public IPv4 and IPv6 address, each with location and operator • Trust score and threat signals with an API key (VPN detector, proxy and Tor detection, blocklists) • Private and reserved addresses are recognised locally and never sent anywhere • Light and dark mode, following your system or set by hand • Twemoji flags that render on every operating system Privacy The only data that leaves your browser is the IP address being looked up, sent to ipdata (ipdata.co, or api.ipdata.co with your key). Nothing is sent to anyone else, nothing is tracked, and lookups are cached for an hour in your browser session only.
