IP Lab — IP & Network Tools
Overview
Public IP, location, ISP, DNS, subnet, latency, WebRTC privacy checks, network signals, and IP change alerts.
IP Lab is a fast, privacy-focused IP and network diagnostic toolkit built directly into Chrome. Instantly check your public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, approximate location, ISP, organization, ASN, timezone, connection information, and other useful network details from one clean dashboard. NETWORK OVERVIEW View your current public IP address together with approximate country, region, city, ISP, organization, ASN, timezone, and country flag. IP INSPECTOR Enter any IPv4 or IPv6 address to inspect its approximate network and geographic information, including ISP, organization, ASN, country, region, city, and timezone. DNS LOOKUP Run DNS-over-HTTPS lookups for: A AAAA MX NS TXT CNAME CAA PTR You can enter a hostname manually or use the current site's hostname when you explicitly choose the Use current site option. SUBNET / CIDR CALCULATOR Quickly calculate IPv4 network information including network address, broadcast address, subnet mask, CIDR range, host range, and available addresses. LATENCY & CONNECTION SIGNALS Check HTTP latency and view browser-provided connection estimates including effective connection type, estimated downlink, RTT, and Data Saver status when available. WEBRTC PRIVACY CHECK Run an on-demand WebRTC ICE candidate test to inspect network information exposed through WebRTC and better understand your browser's privacy behavior. IP CHANGE MONITORING Optionally monitor your public IP address in the background and receive a Chrome notification when it changes. IP HISTORY Keep a local history of detected public IP addresses, timestamps, and country information. History can be cleared at any time. EXPORT & COPY TOOLS Copy individual network values, generate a diagnostic report, export IP history to CSV, or export a network snapshot as JSON. PRIVACY IP Lab does not sell user data and does not use user information for advertising. To provide network diagnostics, IP Lab communicates with external IP, geolocation, DNS, and WebRTC infrastructure. Requests are made only for IP Lab's network-diagnostic features. IP history, country information, timestamps, and preferences may be stored locally in Chrome extension storage. The Use current site helper accesses the active tab URL only after a user action so that its hostname can be placed into the DNS lookup tool. IP Lab does not read the contents of webpages. No account is required. THIRD-PARTY NETWORK SERVICES IP Lab uses: • ipify services for public IP detection • ipwho.is for approximate IP, location, ISP, organization, and ASN information • Cloudflare DNS for DNS-over-HTTPS lookups and network latency testing • Google STUN infrastructure only when the user manually starts the WebRTC privacy test Country flag images are bundled directly with IP Lab and are not downloaded from an external flag service. IMPORTANT IP geolocation is approximate and may not represent your physical location. Network and privacy results are provided for informational and diagnostic purposes.
