IP Hover Lookup shows geolocation, ASN, and rDNS for any IPv4/IPv6 found in page text — just hover your mouse. • Detects private/bogon IPs (RFC1918, link-local, IPv6 ULA, loopback, etc.) and shows “Private address (private IP)” without sending a request • Click “Details” to open the full lookup page • Multi‑language labels in the tooltip (auto‑detected from your browser): English (default), Polish, Russian, French, Ukrainian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, Swedish, Hungarian, Czech, Slovak • Lightweight — no options page, no background polling; only runs when you view pages and hover over IP-like text Data practices • We do not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. The extension makes a single request to the lookup service only when you hover over an IP (unless the IP is private). No browsing history is sent anywhere. Open source & license • MIT license (included). Notes • The tooltip is anchored to the hovered IP and stays visible for 2 seconds after mouse-out so you can click links inside it.
