Overview

Country flag of the server on your toolbar, site rank as a 0-10 rating on the badge, plus IP, hosting and RDAP whois.

See exactly where a website is hosted and how popular it is without sharing your browsing activity. This lightweight extension gives you instant, at-a-glance insight into the server behind any page you visit. The toolbar icon changes to the country flag of the server that actually delivered the page, while the badge displays a site ranking from 0 to 10. Hover for detailed figures, or open the popup for full IP information, a copy button, and one-click WHOIS lookups. Key Features: Live Server Flags – Shows the country flag for the connected server IP (IPv4 and IPv6), read from the response itself. Instant Site Rating – Displays a score out of 10 on the badge, with the exact rank in the tooltip and popup. One-Click WHOIS & RDAP – Run lookups for both domain and IP addresses, only when you ask. Customizable Lookup Menu – Context menu with editable URLs and custom slots. Offline Functionality – Flags and rankings work without an internet connection. You can refresh the geolocation data or ranking source data yourself from Options. Getting Started: After installation, pin the extension to your toolbar via the puzzle-piece icon to make the flag visible. Ranking Sources: The extension bundles the Majestic Million, which ranks sites by backlink authority—ideal for SEO and marketing purposes. If you prefer traffic-based metrics, you can import Tranco, the Chrome UX Report, or Cloudflare Radar, each offering a different take on site popularity: Tranco aggregates multiple traffic datasets for stable, research-friendly rankings; the Chrome UX Report focuses on real-user experience and performance; and Cloudflare Radar reflects global DNS and traffic patterns. You can also supply your own CSV with custom rankings. All imported data stays local on your machine. Your Privacy Matters: Country and rank data are stored locally—no external requests are made when you browse. No browsing data is collected, stored, or transmitted. The only outbound request happens when you manually click the WHOIS button, which queries the public RDAP service. Data Sources & Attribution: IP Geolocation: DB-IP (CC BY 4.0) Site Ranking: Majestic Million (CC BY 3.0) Flag Artwork: flagpedia.net (Public Domain) WHOIS: RDAP Note on Accuracy: Free geolocation data can be imprecise for anycast networks. For sites behind large CDNs like Cloudflare, the flag may reflect the network registration country rather than your actual endpoint—a limitation of the underlying data, not a bug in the extension.
