ion8’s Call Connector is a custom-built web application that integrates RingCentral with Clio. Once installed and configured, the call pop becomes a part of the RingCentral app. The call pop helps to identify any inbound callers based on existing records in Clio, allowing users to bring up the relevant Contact information and Matters associated with them. If an unrecognized caller comes in, their information can be saved as a Lead or associated with an existing Contact. The overall advantage to the Call Connector is that once an inbound or outbound call is completed, the activity is logged. Notes can be associated to the activity to give some more detail about what the call was about. The user can also then create follow-up tasks to make sure the next steps required after the call are not forgotten.
