Map Whisperer puts a map analyst beside the web map you are using. Sign in with your QuickMapTools Pro + AI account, open a supported web map, and refresh the map page. Map Whisperer discovers exposed GIS services and builds a layer catalog in its side panel. Add layers or import your own files, then describe the analysis you want in plain language. Build on each answer: - Create buffers, then find the features that intersect them. - Filter parcels by land use, clip them to another layer, and calculate areas. - Filter attribute rows, calculate new fields, and refine the result. - Inspect the result on the map or in an attribute table, then export a new file. Supported sources depend on what the website exposes. ArcGIS feature services, WFS and other supported vector services can provide queryable data. Raster and tile layers can provide map context but do not necessarily expose analysable features. This extension does not unlock private data or bypass a site's access restrictions. Map discovery can be blocked by website security policies. File imports include WGS84 GeoJSON, latitude/longitude CSV, KML/KMZ, GPX and zipped Shapefiles. Convert other file projections to EPSG:4326 before importing. A paid QuickMapTools Pro + AI subscription is required: US$30 monthly or US$288 annually, including 250 questions each month. An extra 200 questions costs US$15. Your login and question allowance work on both the website and extension; working datasets and conversations are separate. There is no free AI trial. Files and spatial calculations stay in your browser. After you enable chat, messages and relevant map context, attributes and analysis results are processed by AI services.
