Capture an entire webpage as a long image or paginated/continuous PDF. Processing stays on your device. Detailed description Capture the whole webpage—not just the visible screen. SCROLLSHOT turns the current webpage into a continuous full-page image, a set of numbered image segments, a paginated PDF, or one long PDF page. Choose your format and layout, click Capture Full Page, review the result, and save it through Chrome. IMAGE OUTPUT • PNG for lossless captures • JPEG with adjustable quality • WebP with adjustable quality • One continuous image or segmented images in a ZIP archive PDF OUTPUT • Paginated PDF using US Letter, US Legal, A4, or A3 paper • Portrait, landscape, or automatic orientation • Configurable margins, page scaling, page breaks, overlap, headers, and footers • One continuous tall PDF page when the page remains within safe PDF limits BUILT FOR REAL WEBPAGES • Captures content beyond the visible viewport by scrolling and stitching tiles • Handles pages that are wider than the browser window • Can prepare lazy-loaded content before capture • Offers Keep once, Hide, and Repeat modes for fixed and sticky elements • Pauses animation during capture by default • Restores the page’s original scroll position and temporary visual state • Detects navigation, tab changes, layout changes, cancellation, and unsafe output sizes LOCAL-FIRST PRIVACY SCROLLSHOT reads the current page’s visible content, title, URL, and dimensions only after you start a capture. Capture, stitching, image encoding, PDF creation, ZIP creation, preview, and download preparation happen locally in Chrome. The extension makes no network requests and includes no telemetry, analytics, advertising, account, cloud storage, or remote code. The extension uses activeTab instead of broad website access. It does not request access to every site, browser history, cookies, or the debugger. LARGE-PAGE SAFETY Browser canvas and memory limits vary. If one continuous image would be unsafe, SCROLLSHOT can stop and explain, scale down, create segmented images, or switch to a paginated PDF. It never silently truncates a result. LIMITATIONS Chrome blocks capture on browser-owned and protected pages, including chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, extension pages, and some enterprise-controlled surfaces. Keep the source tab active and do not navigate, resize the window, or change browser zoom during capture. PDFs are image-based, so webpage text is not selectable and links are not active. No account is required. No data is sent to the developer or a third party.
