InvestBeacon — Stock Watchlist

Scan an article for listed companies, choose which stocks to keep, and save a private watchlist. Works entirely on your device.

Capture companies as you read and keep them for later research. InvestBeacon Stock Watchlist recognises company names and ticker symbols using an offline directory of 5,000 of the world's largest publicly listed companies by market capitalisation, based on a snapshot dated 24 October 2026. Open an article and click the toolbar icon. The popup scans the page locally, shows matching companies and lets you choose which ones to save. Clear matches are preselected; uncertain matches are left unchecked for you to review. Features • Recognition of company names, representative tickers and selected alternate names. • A private, on-device watchlist with up to 1,000 saved companies. • Search across the full 5,000-company directory. • Optional article links and short excerpts, off by default. • Supported share-class choices and JSON watchlist import/export. • No account, analytics or remote recognition service. Page scanning, matching and watchlist storage run on your device. The extension does not send scanned page text or your watchlist to InvestBeacon. The directory is a dated snapshot, not a live ranking. It does not provide live prices, every possible name variation or complete exchange coverage. Matches may be missed or incorrect. The scanner reads loaded text in the top-level page; protected pages, PDF viewers, image text and inaccessible frames are not supported. Very long pages may be shortened for scanning. The watchlist is for keeping companies you want to revisit. Neither InvestBeacon nor Athanasios Karantonis recommends investing in a company because it is detected, displayed or saved. Match confidence and preselection concern text recognition, not investment quality. The extension does not provide personalised investment advice, execute trades or connect to brokerage accounts.
