Intro Skipper
Overview
Automatically skip the intro of YouTube videos for specific channels (set the second to start playing from, e.g. 14 seconds).
Intro Skipper automatically skips past the intro of YouTube videos — but only for the channels you choose to configure. HOW IT WORKS Set a default "skip to second" (e.g. 14s), add the channel names you want it to apply to, and Intro Skipper takes care of the rest. The moment a video from a configured channel starts playing, it's paused, jumped to your chosen second, then resumed automatically — so you never see or hear the intro play first. KEY FEATURES • One default skip time for every channel you add — no per-channel setup required • Channel-specific: only acts on channels you've explicitly added; every other video plays untouched • "Use Current Channel" button — grab the channel name straight from the open YouTube tab with one click • No intro flash — playback is paused before the intro is visible, then seeked and resumed • Works with YouTube's single-page navigation, so it keeps working as you click between videos without a full reload • Supports both regular videos and Shorts PRIVACY Intro Skipper runs entirely inside your browser. It does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data, and it has no analytics or trackers. Your skip-time and channel list are stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage.sync API. The extension only requests access to youtube.com — nothing else. Perfect for skipping repetitive channel intros, sponsor bumpers, or intro animations on your favorite creators' videos, every time, automatically.
