Overview
Developed by CVA Analytics exclusively for use by University of Lausanne researchers to study internet usage behaviour.
As part of this research, pre-approved participants who have voluntarily enrolled will be asked to install this Chrome extension. The extension collects data on how users search for specific information during a survey, which websites are visited and how much time is spent on each. This browsing data is securely transmitted to a private server within University of Lausanne and is accessible only to the research team. Participation is voluntary, and users may opt out and uninstall the extension at any time. Each user is assigned a randomized, anonymized ID, ensuring that all data remains non-identifiable.
