Captions appear as the speaker talks. Translations follow a beat later, in the language you choose. Built for the people who work in language every day — court and medical interpreters preparing for hearings, conference interpreters tracking a live feed, language students studying real speech, and anyone joining a meeting in a language that isn't their first. What it does: • Real-time captions for any audio playing in a Chrome tab — no plugin required on the meeting platform. • Live translation between 60+ languages, updated as the speaker talks. • Works on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, YouTube, Vimeo, and recorded video. • Scrollable transcripts you can review during the call. • Adjustable caption size, position, and contrast. • One-click toggle from the toolbar, plus Alt+Shift+C to start and stop hands-free. How it works: Click the extension icon, choose your source and target language, and start the session. Intercall captures only the audio from the active tab. Your microphone, other tabs, and the rest of you screen are never touched. Audio is streamed to our speech engine, captions and translations return in under a second, and nothing from the session is kept unless you save it from your Intercall account.
