Intelligent Text brings practical AI-powered text tools directly to your Chrome browser. Select text on a webpage and use the context menu, keyboard shortcuts, or the extension popup to: - Generate a concise reply using the selected text. - Correct spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation with minimal changes. - Improve formal or informal writing while preserving the original meaning and tone. - Translate text into English, Spanish, or Brazilian Portuguese. - Transform a rough instruction into a structured, production-ready system prompt. - Apply your own custom instruction to selected text. Results can be reviewed in an isolated preview panel before being applied. The panel shows the original text, the generated result, the action used, and the provider that completed the request. For correction actions, local word-level highlighting helps you see what changed. You can copy the original or generated text, copy results automatically, or replace verified editable selections directly in webpages. Before replacement, the original text is copied to the system clipboard as a recoverable backup. After replacement, the same control can undo the change. Rich editors such as Gmail, ChatGPT, Notion, Slack, and webmail interfaces are supported, while protected or non-editable content remains copy-only. Choose from Google Gemini, Groq, OpenAI, Mistral, or OpenRouter. You can configure a primary provider and an optional fallback provider, select models independently, test API keys, and configure OpenRouter privacy routing. Each provider uses its own credential. The extension supports English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese interfaces. You can choose whether processing preserves the detected source language or uses a selected target language. Additional preferences include notifications, automatic copy and replacement behavior, keyboard actions, a custom instruction of up to 2,000 characters, and an optional local completion sound. Privacy is built into the design. Intelligent Text has no developer-operated backend, analytics, telemetry, or text history. Requests are sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you select. Your API credentials are stored in Chrome extension storage and are not sent to a server operated by this project. Provider processing, retention, logging, and charges are governed by the provider and account you use. Requires Chrome or a Chromium-based browser version 109 or later and an API key from at least one supported provider.
