A 1,300-post library lists in seconds instead of ten minutes of dragging a grid by hand. Scans are cached for a day, so reopening a collection is instant. 🖱️ HOW IT WORKS There are two ways to use InstaSave, and most people use both. 👉 ONE CLICK, ON THE PAGE — a download button appears on posts in your feed, on Reels, in the Stories and Highlights viewer, on profile grids, on profile headers and on your saved collection tiles. Click it and the file saves. Nothing to open first. 📋 THE SIDE PANEL, FOR EVERYTHING BIGGER — press Alt+S on any Instagram page, or click the InstaSave icon in your toolbar. The panel is where you scan your saved collections, pick exactly the posts you want, download whole collections in one go, export captions and likes as CSV or JSON, and see what you already saved under History. 📌 Tip: Chrome hides newly installed extensions behind the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar. Saving the one frame you're looking at sometimes can't be pinned down — Instagram plays stories from a temporary stream with no identifier, and on the first frame the page address has no ID in it yet. When that happens InstaSave stops and tells you rather than guessing and saving the wrong file. Move to the next story and back, or use the save-all button beside it. That key is name-your-price on Gumroad with $0 accepted, so if InstaSave saves you time you're welcome to chip in — and if you'd rather not, nothing about the downloading changes. 🔒 YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS There is no backend. Media goes straight from Instagram's servers to your disk, and everything InstaSave knows lives in your browser's local storage. No tracking, no advertising SDK, and nothing at all is sent while InstaSave is installed. Two exceptions, both optional and both listed in the privacy policy: 🔑 If you enter a licence key, that key alone is checked against Gumroad's API. 👋 If you uninstall, a short feedback form opens with five coarse details attached — version, roughly how long you had it, free or Pro, roughly how much you downloaded, and the last error type. No account, no identifier, no username.
