Adds a seek bar and speed control to Instagram videos on desktop. Rewind, skip ahead and replay any part of a video.

Instagram on desktop doesn't let you rewind a video. If you miss something, you have to wait for the whole video to end and start again. InstaPlay fixes that. Hover over any video on instagram.com and a slim seek bar appears at the bottom, just like on YouTube. FEATURES • Seek bar: click or drag to jump to any moment of the video • Time preview: see the exact time before you jump • Current time and total duration (e.g. 0:12 / 0:45) • Playback speed: 0.5x, 0.75x, 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x and 2x • Keyboard shortcuts: ← and → rewind or skip 5 seconds while the mouse is over a video • Works on the feed, Reels and opened posts LIGHTWEIGHT AND RESPECTFUL • It doesn't change Instagram's design: the controls only appear when you hover over a video • No account, no settings, no ads • It does not collect, store or send any data.
