Instant Smart Quotes

Unfortunately, the extension doesn't work properly with Belarusian and Ukrainian. I can't put correct quotation sings «» when pressing the standard SHIFT+2 key combination. Any other key combinations don't produce correct quotation signs either. In English, everything works fine.

This is a great extension, but doesn't quite work correctly on ellipsus.com, which is unfortunately where I mainly want to use it. Every time I start a new paragraph, the cursor jumps behind the first character I type for some reason. Fortunately not too hard to deal with, but still annoying.

Exactly what I wanted for web-based text editors.

I love this extension! I have to report an issue though. For some reason it has stopped working on the Archive Of Our Own website, which is where it's most helpful for me. I'm not sure why!

Is the textbox where it doesn’t work on that website publicly accessible so I can try it out there? I have visited that website and all input fields I could find worked well.

This is an amazing extension that works simply brilliantly. As someone who has obsessive-compulsive tendencies when it comes to mechanics like punctuation, I am so grateful for it! 😆 Recently, the extension stopped working on messenger.com and WhatsApp's web version. Will this hopefully be corrected in a forthcoming update?

Thank you for the feedback. I have just released version 6 which should now also work well in WhatsApp web.

Very cool application, however for my uses, I don't want the ... to be replaced. I'd love it if we could manually turn off the replacement of certain symbols.

Excellent extension. I love that it supports more than 50 languages. One observation: Smart quotes work if one word needs to be between quotation marks, but it does not work when I need to put a phrase or a whole sentence between quote. In such cases, only the closing quotation mark changes to a smart quote; the first quotation mark remains a straight quote.

Excellent job, it also works with Opera browser!! Changes all my quotes to curly quotes, which is exactly what I've always wanted on desktop but could only get on Apple mobile by default. So happy as now my tweets/posts look so much more aesthetically pleasing.
