Hide Reels, Explore, Suggested, and Sponsored posts — keep only what you follow.
Instagram Sanitizer helps you use Instagram with fewer distractions. The extension filters suggested and sponsored feed content, reduces posts from accounts you do not follow, and removes access to distracting destinations such as Explore and Reels. Instagram Home and Saved Posts can also be redirected to Direct Messages, helping you open Instagram for communication instead of endless scrolling. Features: • Hide suggested and sponsored posts • Reduce content from accounts you do not follow • Block Explore and Reels • Redirect Home and Saved Posts to Messages • Hide recommendation modules • Add custom filtering phrases • Allowlist selected Instagram usernames • Synchronize preferences through Chrome • Process Instagram content locally without developer-operated servers Filtering options can be adjusted through the extension popup and Options page. Instagram Direct Message contents are not inspected or filtered.
