Instagram DM Real-time Translation is a lightweight Chrome extension purpose-built for the Instagram Direct web interface (https://www.instagram.com/direct/inbox/). Core features: • Real-time translation of chat messages in both directions (inbound and outbound) • Multiple translation channels, scenes, and tones (business / casual / academic / ...) • Local cache of translations — repeat visits open instantly • Customisable font colour and size that blends with the Instagram theme • Quick-toggle popup plus a full Options page • All translation requests go through the official translation API (tranai.app); no user data outside chat messages is ever parsed
