Instagram Comment Exporter: CSV/JSON/XLSX for Leads
Overview
Export Instagram post comments to CSV/JSON/XLSX with usernames, text, dates, and links for leads, feedback, and AI workflows.
Export Instagram post comments to CSV, JSON, or XLSX for lead review, content analysis, and campaign recap Use the exported file to review what people are saying under a post, check giveaway or campaign entries, and keep a local copy of a discussion for later reference. Web Tidy is useful when you have already found one Instagram post and want to turn the visible top-level comments into a file you can actually work with. It exports comments from an accessible /p/ post in your current browser session to CSV, JSON, or XLSX, so you can filter, tag, compare, archive, or pass the rows into AI tools and internal workflows. What you can export • Visible top-level comments from one Instagram /p/ post • 20, 50, 200, or 1,000 rows; default 50 • 4, 5, 6, 8, or 10 second pacing between page requests; default 6 seconds • CSV, JSON, or XLSX • Target validation, progress, confirmed rows, pages, duplicates, and error status • Pause, resume, or stop a task while keeping confirmed rows when possible • Re-download retained results from local History Ways to use the export Lead review Keep usernames, profile links, comment text, and timestamps in one file. Filter for questions, buying signals, repeat engagement, or important phrases, then hand the shortlist to whoever will follow up for manual review. Content style analysis Collect comment text into a spreadsheet or JSON file and look for language, tone, questions, praise points, and content preferences. Teams can filter keywords in a spreadsheet or send JSON into an AI summarization workflow. Campaign, partnership, or giveaway preparation Export a dated comment snapshot before your manual review. CSV is quick for filtering, XLSX is convenient for handoff, and JSON is easier for scripts, sampling, tags, or AI summaries. Feedback recap and support triage Turn suggestions, complaints, questions, and praise into a structured review file. Comment IDs, authors, timestamps, and source links stay together so teams can reopen and verify the source row. Light research and archives Save multiple post exports with the same row limit to compare keywords, account participation, and feedback density across topics, collaborators, or publishing windows. How it works 1. Open an Instagram post your current browser session can access, or paste a post URL in the popup. 2. Confirm that the popup recognizes the post shortcode. 3. Choose row limit, pacing, and file format. 4. Start the export and watch confirmed rows, pages, duplicates, and errors. 5. Download the finished file; if the task stops after collecting rows, download the partial result when available. 6. Re-download retained exports later from local History. What you get Available fields include User Id, Username, Comment Id, Comment Text, Profile URL, Profile Pic URL, Date, and Like Count. Fields come from the current Instagram response. If Instagram does not return a profile picture, like count, or another value for a comment, the cell remains blank. A blank Like Count means the current response did not provide a per-comment count; it does not prove the comment has zero likes. CSV is best for quick filtering and sharing. XLSX is useful for office spreadsheets, recaps, and manual tagging. JSON is useful for AI tools, automation scripts, and downstream systems. Pacing, stops, and recovery The extension collects one page request at a time and does not run parallel comment requests. It waits for the pacing value you choose before requesting the next page, and it keeps cursor, confirmed rows, and duplicate tracking for the task. You can pause, resume, or stop. Login prompts, challenge pages, rate limits, restricted access, empty pages, stalled cursors, or source changes move the task into a diagnosable Attention state and keep confirmed rows when possible. After handling the Instagram page state, return to the extension and resume, or download the rows already collected. Privacy and local processing No Web Tidy account is required. The extension uses the Instagram session already open in your browser. It does not request Chrome cookies permission and does not ask you to paste cookies or tokens. Task state, History, and export files stay local in the browser extension and Chrome downloads flow; comments are not uploaded to Web Tidy servers. Important limits This version is for top-level visible comments from Instagram /p/ posts. It does not export reply threads, process multiple links in one run, monitor new comments, or bypass private content, login, challenge, or access limits. For long-running monitoring, multi-link queues, cloud workflows, or deeper comment analysis, use the Web Tidy export as the structured input for your own follow-up process. Web Tidy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Support: https://webtidy.net/support
