Instagram videos on the web have no real controls. InstaControls adds a seek bar, playback speed, volume, captions, picture-in-picture and fullscreen to every video, Reel and Story on instagram.com. 😤 The problem On Instagram's website you can't skip ahead, rewind the part you missed, speed up a long talk or set the volume. Miss one sentence and you watch the whole Reel again. ✅ The fix Hover any video and a clean control bar appears: • Seek bar: click or drag to any moment, with a time preview on hover • Time and duration: always see how much is left • Speed: 0.5x to 2x, opens on hover • Volume: slider, or scroll over the icon • Captions: when the video has them • Picture-in-picture: keep watching while you browse other tabs • Fullscreen: the whole player, controls included 📱 Works across Instagram Home feed, Reels, posts, Explore and Stories. On Stories the bar sits just above the reply box, so replying, liking and sharing stay one click away. 🧹 One clean set of controls InstaControls replaces Instagram's small mute and play buttons and hides duplicate overlays added by other video extensions, so there are never two control bars on one video. ⚙️ Your settings Turn controls on or off, show them on Stories, and remember your volume and speed between visits.
