InstaCleanser helps you understand your Instagram followers and following without handing your password to another website. You stay logged in on instagram.com in a normal tab; the extension runs analysis in that same browser session. What you can do - Run a full compare and see Followers, Following, and people you follow who don’t follow you back. - On your own profile, unfollow one account at a time or use Unfollow all (use responsibly—Instagram may rate-limit you). - On someone else’s username, lists are read-only so you don’t change your following by mistake. - Optional side panel (Chrome 114+) keeps the UI open while you switch tabs. Your last successful run is saved locally in Chrome storage and restored when you reopen the popup or panel. Requirements - Chromium-based browser (Chrome or Edge). - Stay logged in on instagram.com in the tab you use for analysis. Instagram does not ship a public API for this workflow. The extension relies on the same kind of requests the website uses; behavior can change. Unfollow at your own risk and pace. Open source. Not affiliated with Meta or Instagram.
