InsightHub – Simple Tools for the YouTube Creator Workflow InsightHub is a browser extension that provides a collection of small tools designed to help YouTube creators experiment with ideas, analyze content elements, and improve parts of their video workflow while browsing YouTube. Creating videos for YouTube often involves many small tasks — testing thumbnail ideas, trying different title hooks, structuring descriptions, or responding to viewer comments. Many tools exist for these tasks, but they are often spread across different websites. InsightHub started as a small independent project that brings several of these tools together directly inside the browser. The goal of the extension is not to replace professional analytics platforms, but to provide lightweight utilities that help creators experiment with ideas and make incremental improvements to their content. Current Features Thumbnail Preview & Testing Preview different thumbnail ideas directly while browsing YouTube. This helps creators quickly compare visual concepts and evaluate how thumbnails may appear alongside other videos. Title Hook Analyzer Analyze video titles using common elements associated with click-through performance such as title length, numbers, curiosity hooks, and commonly used title structures. Description Structurer Check whether a video description follows common YouTube practices such as timestamps, keywords, playlist links, and calls-to-action. Smart Reply Assistant Generate suggested replies for YouTube comments to help creators respond faster and maintain engagement with viewers. Channel Insights Display quick channel information and simple insights while browsing YouTube pages. Ask ChatGPT Module Send text prompts to ChatGPT to help generate ideas for titles, descriptions, tags, or other video-related content. This feature only activates when triggered by the user. Thumbnail Downloader Download publicly available video thumbnails for reference or inspiration. View Tags Display the tags used by a YouTube video so creators can better understand how videos are categorized. Multi-language Support InsightHub supports multiple interface languages so creators from different regions can use the extension more comfortably. An evolving independent project InsightHub is an early project developed by an independent creator. The extension will continue to evolve over time with small improvements and additional tools.
