InputRecaller
Overview
Save the text you type into a form field, then refill it automatically on your next visit. Everything stays on your device.
InputRecaller remembers the text you type into form fields and puts it back the next time you see the same field. **How it works** - Focus a text field or textarea and a small save icon appears at its top-right. - Click the icon to save the current value. The icon turns into a green check while the field still holds that saved value. - On later visits, and on fields that appear later (SPA re-renders and fields revealed behind dropdowns), the value is refilled automatically — but only when the field is empty. - A refilled field shows the same green check as a manual save, so you can tell at a glance which values came from InputRecaller. - Saved values are grouped by site, so a value saved on one site can never be recalled on another. **What it will and will not do** - Password fields are never read or stored. - It never overwrites text you have already typed. - It never touches a field outside the site where you saved the value. - It makes no network requests and loads no remote code. **Your data** - Everything is stored on your device, in the browser's own local extension storage. - Nothing is uploaded, shared, or sold. - You can review every saved answer, grouped by site, on the extension's options page, and delete any entry with one click. - Uninstalling the extension removes all saved values. **No account, no tracking** There is no sign-in, no analytics, and no third-party service of any kind.
