Socratic Algo Coach
Overview
A patient competitive-programming coach that protects productive struggle.
Competitive programming is learned by thinking -- not by copying an answer. Socratic Algo Coach lives beside the problem in Chrome. It listens to your approach, questions your assumptions, and helps you find the next useful step while keeping the key reasoning in your hands. It can: - Read problems from Codeforces, LeetCode, DMOJ, USACO, Advent of Code, and many ordinary problem pages - Work from a pasted statement when page extraction is unavailable - Discuss your ideas, complexity analysis, edge cases, and pasted code - Use focused questions, small examples, corrections, and optional diagrams - Remember an optional learner profile that you can inspect, correct, export, disable, or erase - Guard responses against revealing too much too soon - The extension never edits your code or submits solutions. Requires your own OpenAI API key with GPT-6 Astra access. OpenAI bills API usage directly to you. There is no application backend, advertising, or analytics. After your consent, relevant problem content and conversation data are sent directly to OpenAI. Your API key and full learner profile stay in Chrome’s local extension storage.
