Whether you're reading articles, documentation, or long-form content, InkWell strips away visual noise and creates a paper-like reading environment. Features E-ink Mode — Full-page grayscale with optimized contrast. A single toggle desaturates every site you visit. Paper-like Background — Bright pages get a warm cream tone (#f5f0e8); dark pages shift to a soft dark gray. Stylized Fonts — Automatically applies serif fonts matched to the page language: Noto Serif SC + FangSong (Chinese), Noto Serif JP + Yu Mincho (Japanese), Noto Serif KR + Batang (Korean), Georgia (Western languages). Newspaper Texture — Adds a subtle paper-grain overlay for a tactile reading feel. Low Saturation Mode — Reduces color saturation by 60%. A gentler alternative to full grayscale (mutually exclusive with E-ink Mode). Favicon Grayscale — Automatically converts favicons to grayscale for a cohesive toolbar. Keyboard Shortcut — Press Alt+Shift+I to toggle instantly. 6-Language UI — Interface in 中文, English, Français, Español, 日本語, 한국어. How it works Click the InkWell icon in your toolbar. Toggle E-ink Mode — the page transforms instantly. Enable Stylized Font for better readability. Adjust Newspaper Texture and Low Saturation to taste. Settings sync across all tabs. Toggle once, enjoy everywhere. Privacy InkWell operates entirely locally. No data is collected, transmitted, or shared. All processing happens in your browser.
