Inkwell turns every new browser tab into a fast, distraction-free Markdown editor. Write and preview side by side Split-view editing shows your rendered Markdown updating live as you type, with full GitHub-Flavored Markdown support — tables, task lists, fenced code blocks, and more. Keep multiple documents A collapsible sidebar holds all your documents, so opening a new tab never means losing what you were working on. Switch between them with a click. Bring files in easily Drag and drop a .md file straight onto the page to open it as a new document, or use the Open button. Export the way you want - Markdown (.md) — saved straight to your Downloads folder - HTML (.html) — cleanly styled, saved straight to your Downloads folder - PDF — via your browser's print dialog, styled to match the preview Everything stays on your device Inkwell has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. Your documents are saved locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API and never leave your computer.
