Capture citations from any page into Inkwave, and read your sources inside it — fetched from your own connection.

Inkwave connects browser research directly to your Inkwave writing studio. Capture a source, check its details on the page, and insert a citation link without breaking your reading flow. Capture and cite • Use the toolbar button, Alt+Shift+C, or the Inkwave right-click menu. • Capture a citation to your library, capture and paste its link at the cursor, or paste a link already in your library. • DOI, arXiv, ISBN and PubMed identifiers are resolved through their public metadata registries. • Ordinary webpages can be analysed to extract title, author, date and publication details; the result remains editable before use. Read sources in Inkwave • If you deliberately enable the optional page-fetching permission, Inkwave can fetch a page or PDF from your own browser connection and show it in the source reader. • The permission is optional, requested from the extension popup, and can be revoked at any time. Privacy The extension acts only when you invoke a capture or open a source through Inkwave. It does not read your browsing history or monitor other tabs. Captures wait in local extension storage only until delivered, and the local “already captured” history expires after five minutes. For ordinary webpage citation extraction, the selected page address and content pass through Inkwave’s stateless endpoint to Anthropic solely to extract citation fields.
