Overview
Capture citations from any page into your Inkwave writing studio — one click for journal articles, AI-assisted for blogs.
Inkwave Citation Capture connects your browser to your Inkwave writing studio. When you find a source worth citing, click the toolbar icon and it's added to your library in seconds — no copying, no form-filling. What it captures: • Journal articles and preprints — via DOI, CrossRef, or arXiv (metadata verified, not AI-guessed) • Books — via ISBN through Open Library and Google Books • Webpages, blog posts, news articles — URL detected automatically How it works: Paste or type a DOI, arXiv ID, ISBN, or URL into the capture bar inside Inkwave, or use Alt+Shift+C on any page. The extension fetches accurate metadata from CrossRef, arXiv, and Open Library — no API keys, no accounts, free. The citation appears in your library instantly, ready to insert as an in-text citation (APA, MLA, Chicago, Vancouver, and more). Privacy: The extension only runs on iwsolo.me and the citation APIs (CrossRef, arXiv, Open Library). It stores nothing on any server — captured citations live in your browser alongside your document. No tracking, no sign-in required. Inkwave is a calm academic writing tool for honours students and researchers. Find it at iwsolo.me for further information contact petergibson127@gmail.com
