Overview
Send the article you're reading to your PocketBook e-reader as a clean EPUB with e-ink-ready images.
Inkpost turns an article open in your browser into a clean EPUB book and sends it to your PocketBook e-reader via Send-to-PocketBook. Emails are sent from your own Gmail account. The extension has no server of its own. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open an article and click the extension icon or press Alt+Shift+P. 2. Click "Send to PocketBook". The book will appear on your e-reader after Wi-Fi sync. From the same menu, you can also download the EPUB directly or open a preview to remove unwanted content and edit the title and author. WHAT GOES INTO THE BOOK • Just the article itself: menus, ads, comments, and pop-ups are removed. • E-ink-optimized images: converted to grayscale and resized to fit your screen. You can adjust image size, quality, and grayscale. • Lazy-loaded and responsive images: images that load as you scroll and adaptive image variants are supported. • A proper cover with the website name, article title, author, and date, so articles are easy to tell apart in your library. • A table of contents and a link to the original article. • Videos and social media posts become links, while math formulas are preserved in TeX format. WHAT YOU NEED • A PocketBook e-reader with a Send-to-PocketBook address (…@pbsync.com). You can find it on your e-reader under Settings → Accounts and Synchronization → Send-to-PocketBook. • A Google account with Gmail. Books are sent from your own email address. • Google Chrome or another Chromium-based browser. Tested in Chrome and Brave. SETUP IN ONE MINUTE 1. Enter your Send-to-PocketBook address in the extension settings. 2. Click "Sign in with Google" and grant permission to send emails. 3. Click "Test send". PocketBook will email you about an unknown sender. Click "add to whitelist" in that email. Otherwise, emails sent from your Gmail account won't be delivered to your e-reader. PRIVACY • Articles are processed directly in your browser. The extension has no server of its own, and the developer cannot see your data. • The extension can only send emails on your behalf and access your email address. It cannot read, search, or delete your emails. • No analytics, ads, or tracking. • The extension only reads a page when you click its icon. Access to all websites is needed solely to download article images hosted on other domains. This permission is requested separately, and you can decline it.
