Knowlite is a local-first knowledge lookup tool that helps users find trusted answers from selected or pasted text.

Highlight a workplace term, acronym, process name, error code, policy phrase, or customer question on a supported webpage. Knowlite searches your connected local workspace and shows the best matching approved answer without making chatbot-style guesses. Your Knowledge Base remains the source of truth. When Knowlite finds a clear match, it can show the answer, source article, related knowledge, and available Reply, Collect, or Caution guidance. If no clear answer exists, you can save a Knowledge Gap for later review. Knowledge Base and Snippet updates are transferred locally between the web workspace and extension. Account ownership checks prevent data from an earlier account or delayed operation from being applied to the active workspace. Authentication tokens, Google credentials, passwords, and Supabase sessions are not passed into the extension. Extension-created Knowledge Gaps are stored separately from web Knowledge Gaps. They can be managed and exported through the extension. PRIVACY Knowlite is designed around local-first workspace storage. Knowledge Base articles, Snippets, Knowledge Gaps, settings, site controls, and related workspace data are stored locally in browser or extension storage unless otherwise stated. Selected text and limited nearby context may be processed locally to find a matching answer. Normal lookup content is not sent to a remote matching or AI service. When you explicitly save a Knowledge Gap, the selected text and relevant context may be retained locally and included in an extension export. Knowlite may handle website content and personal communications when they are present in text you select. A limited account identifier is used locally to keep workspace data associated with the correct signed-in account. Knowlite uses Supabase for account authentication and workspace connection. Google sign-in is used for identity only and does not give Knowlite access to Gmail, Google Drive, or other Google content. Likely banking, financial, medical, patient, authentication, and password-field pages are restricted or blocked. You can also manage your own site allow and block settings. Support information is sent only when you choose to submit a support or privacy request.
