Point it at your sitemap, paste a list of URLs, or press one key on the page you are on, and the participating engines are told immediately instead of waiting days for a crawler to come back on its own. It does not guarantee indexing, and it will not rescue a page that is blocked, thin or duplicated. You need to be able to upload one small text file to your domain's root. No - it does not take part in the protocol. Use Search Console instead. How many URLs can I submit at once? Up to 10,000 per submission, and larger sitemaps are batched automatically. Do I need Bing Webmaster Tools? Not to submit. It is where you confirm what happened afterwards. Where is my key stored? In your browser, in local extension storage.
