Independent YouTube Playlist Manager is an open-source browser extension for organizing YouTube playlists locally. Create, edit, reorder, merge, split, search and remove duplicates directly in your browser. Core local playlist management works without an account. Features • Add videos from URLs, text, HTML and open YouTube tabs. • Organize large playlists with compact page navigation and previous/next arrows. • Reorder videos with drag-and-drop or keyboard/touch buttons. • Use responsive layouts and accessible dialogs in narrow or desktop windows. • Import and export JSON backups; export playlists as CSV or M3U. • Quick-add videos from the toolbar popup or YouTube context menu. • Keep local watch history and resume progress. • Choose light, dark or device themes. • Optionally connect your YouTube account with your own API credentials, or configure Supabase cloud sync. Data and privacy Playlists, cached video metadata, watch progress, settings and optional account tokens are stored in your browser. Metadata lookups send video links/IDs to YouTube and enabled Piped/Invidious services; those engines can be controlled in Settings. YouTube Search sends submitted queries to Google. Optional sign-in and cloud features exchange account information, credentials/tokens and playlist data with the selected providers. There are no advertising, telemetry or data sales.
