Inception Shopping Companion

Compare the product you are viewing on Amazon with Inception’s picks for your country, in a side panel. No account needed.

Inception adds one button to product and search pages on Amazon. Click it, and Inception’s search opens in Chrome’s side panel, right beside the page, for the product you are viewing or the words you searched. Nothing happens until you click. WHAT YOU GET IN THE PANEL • Inception’s top picks for that kind of product, chosen for your country, with prices and offers from several stores. • A conversation that narrows the picks to what you need: ask a question, set a budget, say what matters to you. • The full Inception site, one click away in a new tab. The extension speaks English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese. No account, no sign-up. HOW INCEPTION EARNS MONEY Inception earns a commission on some purchases made through links on Inception. This never changes which products it recommends. The extension itself contains no store links and changes nothing on Amazon’s pages beyond its own button. YOUR DATA • The extension stores only your settings (language, country, whether its buttons show), on your device. • When you click its button, it sends the product’s title or your search words to Inception’s website (inceptionai.ca in Canada) to run the search. It does not read your browsing history, your Amazon account, or anything else on the page. • It keeps no history. Choose “Clear extension data” in its settings, or uninstall it, to remove everything it holds.
