Inbox Cleaner for Gmail helps you find newsletters, promotions, automated updates, and other low-value inbox messages without sending your email data to a developer server. Connect your Gmail account through Google’s OAuth screen, choose a scan size, and review clear KEEP, REVIEW, and CLEAN suggestions. Messages are grouped by sender so repeated promotional emails can be reviewed and selected together. You stay in control: • Nothing is deleted or moved automatically. • Every Trash action requires an explicit selection and confirmation. • KEEP, REVIEW, and CLEAN are suggestions produced by deterministic rules running in your browser. • Search and category filters make large scan results easier to review. • Standard sender-provided unsubscribe links are shown when available. • A 24-hour on-device cache reduces repeated Gmail API requests and helps avoid quota errors. • Disconnect clears cached authentication and account-specific scan data. Privacy by design: • No backend receives your inbox data. • No AI or remote classification service is used. • No advertising, tracking, analytics, or sale of user data. • Gmail data moves directly between Google and the Extension over HTTPS. • OAuth tokens are managed by Chrome Identity and are not stored by the Extension. The Extension requests Gmail modify access because moving messages selected by the user from Inbox to Trash changes Gmail labels. It does not request attachments or full message bodies.
