In Place — Coordinate Converter
Overview
Highlight a coordinate pair, convert it, copy the results.
In Place converts a highlighted coordinate pair without sending you to another tab. Select the numbers on a parcel map, Google Maps, a plat PDF, or an NGS datasheet, right-click, and copy the result from the popup. The typical job is State Plane feet to latitude/longitude, or the reverse. NAD83 is the default. NAD27 is available. UTM and WGS84 are on the same short list. For civil techs, surveyors, GIS analysts, and utility locators. Geodetic output is labeled not for construction. Do not use it for construction or as a substitute for a survey. How it works - Highlight a coordinate pair on any site - Right-click the selection - Choose State Plane, UTM, or WGS84 (zone is guessed from the point; you can override) - Copy from the popup and stay on the page Datums NAD83 (default) and NAD27. No silent datum shift.
