ImpulseVault
Overview
Pause online purchases with a private cooling-off vault before checkout.
ImpulseVault adds a private pause before online checkout. When you click Checkout, Buy Now, Pay Now, or another high-intent purchase action on a supported shopping site, ImpulseVault places the item or cart into a local Vault and starts a cooling-off timer. After the timer ends, you can return to the Vault and choose whether to continue, abandon the item, or wait longer. Core features: - Cooling-off Vault for supported checkout and buy actions. - Default 24-hour waiting period with configurable cooldowns. - Gentle, Standard, and Strict friction levels. - Popup controls for current-site enable/disable and manual page vaulting. - Full Vault dashboard with locked, unlocked, abandoned, and continued items. - Per-item dashboard actions to extend, edit, view the original page, continue after cooldown, abandon, or delete. - Estimated savings tracking for abandoned Vault entries. - Local JSON export/import and delete-all-data controls. - Optional unlock notifications, off by default. Privacy-first workflow: - No account required. - No analytics or shopping telemetry. - No affiliate links. - No remote storage. - No external API calls. - Vault data is stored locally in your browser profile. ImpulseVault is open source and designed for users who want more intentional friction before discretionary purchases.
