It looks for: • Deposits or payment asked for before you can see the item • Gift cards, crypto or wire transfers as payment • Payment app requests that skip buyer protection • Requests for a verification code • "I'm away, I'll ship it to you" sellers • Pressure to move the chat off Facebook, shipping-only sales and brand-new accounts (these only count when several show up together, so honest sellers aren't flagged) 💸 PRICE CHECK A listing priced far below similar items on the same page gets a "Far below similar" badge with the typical price. Accessories, parts and "wanted" posts are left out of the comparison. 🧹 CLEAN UP • Hide sponsored listings • Hide duplicate reposts of the same item • Fade or hide listings you've already opened, so you never scroll past the same thing twice • Hover any listing and click ✕ to hide it for good (undo any time) 🔎 FILTERS • Hide listings with words you don't want, like "wanted", "parts only" or "rent to own" • Set a price range • Only show listings in the suburbs and towns you'll actually travel to, or hide places you won't 👀 SEE WHAT WAS HIDDEN The popup shows how many listings were hidden on the page and why, and one switch shows them again so you can check. 🔒 PRIVATE Everything runs in your browser. No account, no servers, no tracking. Your settings and the list of listings you've opened stay on your computer. A scam warning means a listing shows common scam signs, not that it's definitely a scam. Always keep payment on Facebook or pay in person, meet somewhere public, and inspect before you pay.
